All levels of 508th| organizational leadership are described in roles. Unit leaders will carry the responsibility and day-to-day management for their Team, Squad or Platoon. These report back to 508th Staff which plans and manages the long-term processes.

TEAM LEADER (TL)
As a Team Leader, a Corporal or Sergeant is expected to keep his assigned team combat effective through strong leadership and proper use of tactics, and to support the Squad Leader in any way possible. As a TL you will be responsible for 3 enlisted (PVT/PFC/SPC) in and out of game. This includes keeping track of their activity, training and growth potential. This includes mentoring CPLs to TL standards. You will have to cooperate with the other TL and the Squad Leader for the overall management of the Squad. This might include covering for the SL when he is on LOA.

SQUAD LEADER (SL)
As a Squad Leader, an NCO is responsible for his soldiers both on and off the battlefield. Off the battlefield, a Squad Leader is responsible for ensuring that his soldiers basic needs are met and that they are meeting their basic requirements of clan membership such as activity and installation of required programs. On the battlefield, a Squad Leader is responsible for keeping his squad combat effective through strong leadership and proper usage of tactics.
As a SL you will be responsible for 2 TLs and 6 enlisted (PVT/PFC/SPC) in total. This includes keeping track of their activity, training and growth potential. This includes mentoring your TLs to SL standards. You will have to cooperate with your TLs and the Platoon Leader (PL) and Platoon Sergeant (PS) for the overall management of the Squad. This might include covering for the PS when he is on LOA.
